Miley Cyrus Host’s SNL: Worst Rated In Years

Oops, she did it again. Ms Twerkalicious, MIley Cyrus, hosted last night’s fall opener of Saturday Night Live, and some are calling it the worst episode in history. Regardless of if you liked it, you have to agree that MIley definitely enjoyed making fun of herself, half naked, and even claims “Hannah Montana was murdered and is dead”, as she mocked her the Disney show that made her famous.
Miley didn’t disappoint, diving right into her controversial MTV VMA performance, even wearing the same notorious outfit that she performed in, and mocked her antics with SNL actor Taran Killam who portrayed Robin Thicke….and yes, she actually twerked a little too, during her “Government Shut Down Party” video!
Miley kicked off the show with her first skit addressing the VMA’s, and also she spoke to her old self (a portrayal of Hanna Montana), and claimed that Hannah Montana was murdered. MIley was sporting her ghetto long white nails, and the infamous hair knotted hair style she wore during the VMA’s.
However, when it came to marking the event at an after party following the program, Miley was back to her best, wearing an entirely see-through dress. Wearing just skimpy black underwear beneath, Miley looked as unconcerned as ever about just how much skin was on show as she headed in to STK Steakhouse in New York for the celebrations.
In fact, Miley had worn the outfit to perform Wrecking Ball on the show – but the ensemble didn’t look quite so revealing beneath the studio lights.
Clearly thrilled with how the show went, Miley shared a picture of herself with her arms up and tongue out at the after party on her Twitter page.
However, while Miley might have been pleased with the show, the critical reaction to her episode was vastly contradictory. One newspaper even went as far as to call Miley’s program “the worst episode in recent history”.The Las Vegas Guardian Express wrote: ‘A well-placed source had reported that Miley would twerk, rip into Sinead O’Conner and possibly even ‘cross boundaries’ because of the late hour of the show.
“Some fans said she may end up costing the network money because she could perhaps treat the viewing audience to more nudity than we’ve seen already. Instead of pushing limits or crossing boundaries, she hosted the worst episode in recent SNL history.”
