Miley Cyrus – Has Intentionally Been Controversial For New Film

So, who’s the last person you would think of to do a calculating PR move of risque behavior so their music could top the record charts now? Uhhh, Miley Cyrus? Or so she says. Looks like the Wrecking Ball singer is now saying that all of her controversial behavior lately, including the 2013 MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke where she almost got pregnant from dry humping him on stage, was all planned.
MTV is doing a documentary on the 20 year old pop star, who admits that you need to get people talking about you for two weeks, instead of two minutes. It’s a behind the scenes look at her latest album, BANGERZ, and her MTV performance, and shows her being interviewed, in studio, etc…..something we all are dying to see, right?
Miley’s new album, “Bangerz,” which features the track, is due out on October 8. In the new interview, Miley also said she isn’t worried about competition because she feels she stands out from the pack.
“I feel like I’m in a different lane now. When it comes to critics, I have my blinders on and I don’t really feel like I have to compete with other pop artists. I never think, ‘Oh this performance is going to make her look bad or out-shadow her’ either but if there is no competition, there would be no reason for any of us to show up to work,” she told Fashion. “At an office, everyone is trying to be boss. Pop music is the same. What I wear adds a factor that other girls can’t compete with.”
Despite what you think about Miley, one thing is for sure, she does know how to work it….or is it Twerk it?
