After months and months of the project being on hold, the HBO hit series, Entourage, created by Mark Wahlberg, is finally going to the big screen and negotiations have been finalized to make the movie version of the series. All of the actors from the series will be returning, and now there is word that the 21-year-old blond bombshell Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Kate Upton is rumored to be in the running to play the female lead.
Upton has yet to receive an offer, but she is in early talks to join the cast for the film version that will reunite stars Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, as the all star crew of Hollywood pals.
No word on the part Upton would play exactly, though it’s speculated that it could be Vinnie’s love interest. Reps for Upton and Warner Bros. were unavailable for immediate comment.
Although Upton is best known for her curvacious body as a SI Swimsuit model, she has done some acting, and made her debut in 2011’s Tower Heist. Also, Upston played bit part in the Farrelly brothers’ comedy, The Three Stooges, and she has an upcoming part in the new Cameron Diaz movie, The Other Woman. So maybe the reports are true and Upton could be taking that killer body to the big screen!
Entourage the movie has had some major hold ups, with contract negotiations carrying on for the past two years, due to all of the actors not being able to agree on money. But two weeks ago Entourage‘s creator and director, Doug Ellin, finally declared the movie was an absolute go and tweeted a photo of the cast with the caption, “It’s a go. Love you all.”
If all goes well, shooting on Entourage is expected to get rolling next year.
