Adrian Peterson Indicted For Child Abuse

Minnesota Vikings’ running-back Adrian Peterson is set to be indicted. The indictment comes from allegations of child abuse. Adrian Peterson is said to have beaten a boy with a switch, which is said to be his son.
The incident happened in May in his Houston, Texas home. The initial charges against Peterson were, for recklessness and negligence. The Minnesota Vikings released a statement regarding the allegations Adrian Peterson is facing:
We are in the process of gathering information regarding the legal situation involving Adrian Peterson.
Peterson lost his two year old son in 2013.
Peterson is said to be cooperating with authorities regarding the matter. He will likely have to turn himself in. It is unknown whether Adrian Peterson will play on Sunday September 14, 2014 against the New England Patriots.
